What does a psychologist do?
PsychEquip:  Our areas of expertise:

As the name suggests, PsychEquip is all about equipping you with psychological tools to assist you in creating a rich and meaningful life.  In addition to working with individual adults to achieve this goal, we have a special interest in supporting parents and their children.  Our clinicians have specialist training specific to supporting parents in their parenting efforts, and a dedicated Child Psychologist with skills uniquely tailored for the challengesWhat does a psychologist do children may face.  Our small team is able to work collaboratively with children and parents, or expressly with either parent or child.

Whilst we are dedicated to supporting individuals to be the best version of themselves that they can be, we believe that the gains achieved in working with parents to be a ‘good enough parent’ extend far beyond the individual.

Unlike some practices, we do not claim to have expertise in all issues.  If we don’t feel we are able to offer you the support you require, we will work alongside you to locate a clinician who can.
